Eggies
It was actually quite some weeks ago, the same day as the blueberry puff debacle, that I made Creme Brulee. Matthew and I recently purchased a mini cooking torch because I've always wanted one and Matthew loves to play with anything that produces fire(matches, candles, torches) and we absolutely needed to try it out on an authentic creme brulee. So, despite the horrors that it inflicted on my waistline, I made the creme brulee and we ate all six of the little custards, three for each of us. Very fattening, but absolutely delicious. In the midst of making these little treats, I was fixated by the egg yolks and how pretty they looked in the glass bowl. I decided that they could warm up a bit while I took some photos. It was fun!
Yolkies with the little whiskie
This was fun because the TV provided a interesting contrasting background
So pretty!

Hi Lynnea - You've got some photogenic eggs there....
Hi Kirk,
It's true! they are actually far more photogenic than me =) most food is though.
Creme Brulee! How exotic. I have never made such a desert before, but that is nothing new. You always precede me in the cooking adventure. I am merely a student of you, the true explorer of new territory. I think I may have eaten Creme Brulee once in my 54 years of living. I am exceedingly proud of you for trying such gourmet foods and mastering them with such ease. Or seeming ease, did the Brulee turn out? I realize I didn't see a picture of the end product. Maybe they didn't last that long?
Hi Mother!
I thought for sure we'd made Creme Brulee, years ago, I am sure that I insisted on the project. Well, since you don't remember eating Creme Brulee, I'll make you some when we come up in a couple weeks. We only ever bruleed the creme at night so no photos of it.
Hi Lynnea - You know, I suddenly realized that what I wrote sounded kinda weird, so sorry...... And let's be perfectly clear.....you are adorable!
Kirk, now that you mention it, that's really funny! =) And thank you!
